Wrekin understands the importance of ensuring our business activities are both environmentally friendly and ethical for us and our clients.

Environmental Impact

Wrekin considers positive sustainability, a key responsibility of our organisation and our advice to our clients should promote environmental awareness.

We encourage each other to consider our habits and energy usage when carrying out work activities, and we have various measures in place to reduce our impact on the environment.

These include:

                  • Encouraging keeping waste to a minimum.
                  • Recycling wherever possible.
                  • Making efficient use of natural resources by conserving energy and water.
                  • Keeping transport use to a minimum, and where using a car planning additional time to drive more economically.

The Workplace

All organisations say their people are their most valuable resource.

At Wrekin we focus on the individual, what can we do to make them perform at their best. How can their talents make us excite our clients.

Everyone must be treated with respect, and we must actively seek to provide opportunities for progression for them. That is why we all ensure the fairness and equality of opportunity and we invest in our employee’s expertise to help them fulfil their ambitions.

Wrekin maintains a zero-tolerance position on violations of anti-human trafficking and anti-modern slavery laws.

Charity Work

Everyone at Wrekin gives back to the community and seeks to help those around us. As part of this, we ensure that we are actively contributing to the local community.

We donate our time and expertise to good and deserving causes, helping them to achieve their goals.  Some of the great events we or our staff or both have supported in the past include Wrekin Beer & Cider Festival; the Buildwas Players; St. Mary’s Leighton;
